Case Study: Pet Toy Manufacturer

 

THE CHALLENGE A manufacturer based in North America with production in China was seeking a durable, sustainable content material. The customers' design team in NA worked closely with Audia Elastomers NA engineering team. The Audia Elastomers team supported trials in China with local team resources.  After a year of successful production, the manufacturer decided to move production to Vietnam and Mexico. THE RESULT Designed a highly sustainable content TPE that met "chew" standards and at a competitive price. After the manufacturer's production move, Audia Elastomers' team in SEA and Mexico followed the tool to its new home and supported trials to ensure a smooth transition, maintaining material consistency, documentation of FDA and sustainable materials.
