Carbon Footprint

One World, One Team is our people working together to protect our planet.

Also known as our Joint Team, our employees meet from across all our locations to positively contribute to increasing biodiversity, increasing carbon sequestering, and restoring the environment to its natural state.

Our path to carbon neutrality.

Choosing Thermoplastic Elastomers over other Elastomers.

  • Thermoplastic Elastomers are inherently lower density and have lower carbon footprint than TPU, EPDM, and PVC.

Planting Trees

  • Over 30,000 trees have been planted since 2015.
  • Over 6,000 new trees have been planted during our Joint Team Event in 2022

Environmental Projects in Local Communities

  • Planting trees
  • Wildlife protection efforts such as habitat restoration
  • Environmental Cleanup

Carbon Ranching

  • Transforming farmland to grassland

But What is Carbon Ranching?

Simply, it's transitioning traditional farmland to natural grassland for the purpose of carbon sequestration.

The objective is to reduce human interaction in these areas (no tilling, no fertilizing, no irrigation) and let nature do its work with native/perennial grass. This conversion helps to boost the amount of carbon that is being collected from the atmospheric CO2 and deposited into the soil through the grassroots. Cattle play a key role in keeping these grounds healthy by utilizing proper grazing management strategies.

My Green Earth in Montana offers a rich opportunity to understand the current carbon balance within various land cover types and to determine the effect that cropping, grazing, and concentrated feeding have on the potential for ranch soils to sequester additional carbon.
